Fu sheng listened attentively and grinned.He remarked: “We were about the same age.We played marbles, figure cards and the like.We had no television, video games or other educational toys as children do nowadays, but we weren’t any dumber.We could not afford many toys - in fact there were not many sorts available then - but we created many toys of our own.We kept lots of marbles in boots and figure cards in boxes, and really enjoyed ourselves.”
